Vancouver, British Columbia is among the the most beautiful cities in the world. Nestled between the dramatic Coast Mountain range and along the shores of the Pacific's Strait of Georgia, Vancouver's breathtaking blend of snow-capped mountains and water gives the city a flavour of its own. And because Vancouver is located on Canada's west coast, the climate here is very mild. Winters only occasionally see snow in the city and summers are perfect for outdoor activities. As an avid outdoors enthusiast, Carol-Anne will be found on the local slopes or on the runs at Whistler during the winter months and sailing in the bay as the wind picks up through summer. Multi culturalism is celebrated here with a diverse population of people from all walks of life from all over the world. Vancouver is fast becoming known as a magnificent cosmopolitan city.

A typical Vancouver day might begin with a croissant and latte at one of the city's many outstanding cafés — dozens are within walking distance from any downtown area or along Commercial Drive, close to the Kinetic Education Network location. Perhaps, a stroll along trendy Robson Street shopping district where you'll find exclusive designer stores, exceptional restaurants, and a hubbub of urban activity. Stanley Park offers a famous Seawall Promenade to enjoy the ocean air and the breath taking vistas of water, forest, city and mountains.

Why not take a water taxi to Granville Island where you'll find one-of-a-kind stores, super art galleries, artists' studios, restaurants, theatres and a superb Public Market. You'll likely see a sealion accompanhing you across the water or magnificent giant herons fishing along the waters edge. If you prefer, rent a bicycle for an adventure around the many bike paths in the city or you can rent a kayak or sailboat and spend the afternoon cruising the gentle waters of English Bay. Perhaps you'd prefer to relax with a picnic on scenic Jericho Beach, or watch the sunset from Cypress Mountain, or visit Canada Place, or watch a film shoot, or stroll through Heritage Chinatown... the possibilities are endless!

Whatever your choices may be, we welcome you!
