Carol-Anne Bickerstaff has established an international reputation in the field of specialized kinesiology. As founder of Kinetic Education Network, she has for over 27 years, had a profound impact as a practitioner, instructor, and trainer. Carol-Anne has a comprehensive background that enables her to deliver a wide variety of training programs.
In practicing the art and science of Specialized Kinesiology, Carol-Anne has developed a unique and compelling training method that has enabled her to reliably and systematically catalyze enthusiasm and energy in those she works with. Students make reference to her “making a totally overwhelming subject … come alive”. Practitioners refer to her facilitating changes in attitude that have affected their lives in delightful ways; organizations talk about the spark, energy and renewal that Carol-Anne infuses into their efforts; sponsor organizations report the ability to attract a much larger number of participants and the momentum to sustain these increases.
Carol-Anne combines her expertise in mind-body integration, her philosophical insights, and her communication skills to help her students and clients reach new levels of awareness and healing. This unique synthesis has made her a sought-after facilitator and teacher. She is known for unbounded energy.
In 1979 Carol-Anne first started working with applied kinesiology when she studied Touch For Health™ in Toronto. An adventurer by nature, Carol-Anne accumulated extensive experience in various Eastern healing modalities while traveling throughout Australia and Asia between 1980 and 1985. Her dog-eared copy of “The Complete Book of Homeopathy” was with her every sailing excursion. Health and wellbeing were her keenest interests while on land or at sea.
Her fascination with the human body and her unique ability to simplify the complex led to many requests for her to teach. For the past 25 years she has facilitated exciting courses in Eastern Medicine, Applied Kinesiology, and Anatomy (to name a few) that enable participants to assimilate the most detailed information about the body’s inner workings, and which provide techniques to access and integrate them from both an Eastern approach and a Western point of view.
Having encountered Philip Crockford, one her best trainers ever in Educational Kinesiology while in Sydney, Australia, Carol-Anne began her dedication to the people or children that seemed to fall between the cracks, whether it be labeled as dyslexia or depression. She knew then that muscle testing or Applied Kinesiology was her life’s work and she applied herself accordingly. She has worked and learned directly from the originators and synthesizers of applied kinesiology for the layperson.
Certification and teaching qualifications were met in Touch for Health™, Educational Kinesiology™, Three In One Concepts™ and PKP/PHP™, all between the years 1985-1987, at the same time that she passed the Registered Massage Practitioners Licensing of BC exams.
When in 1985 Carol-Anne met Gordon Stokes at a Touch For Health conference, she decided to sponsor Daniel Whiteside to come teach in Vancouver, and there started the Canadian growth of the One Brain system developed by Three-In-One Concepts™. She became a facilitator in 1986, and immediately began sponsoring and teaching workshops to spread the knowledge and application of this revolutionary healing technique.
In 1990 she became a Faculty member of Three-In-One Concepts™ and traveled internationally to conduct advanced-level One Brain trainings, with an amazing and delightful client base throughout Europe. Today she continues her consultations and advanced trainings in One Brain, supplementing her private sessions with insights from homeopathy and other healing systems.
The idea of lifelong learning and homeopathy is a discipline Carol-Anne embraces wholeheartedly. A philosopher by nature, she has been involved with exploring homeopathy unofficially for many years. Her official studies began in 1996 with a four-year program at The Vancouver Homeopathic Academy and graduated with a Diploma in Classical Homeopathy (DCH). Continuing studies with internationally acclaimed homeopaths whenever possible, Carol-Anne recently completed a 2-year Master’s Clinician Course with Lou Klein of Luminous Homeopathic courses.
Through a love of communicating and working with large groups of people, Carol-Anne is linked in with one of the most exciting Brainstorming concepts used throughout Europe and is a certified facilitator in this process of Syntegrity™. These skills have led to Carol-Anne becoming a member of the advisory board of the Silbury Resource Centre, a hands-on education centre in Vancouver employing the most advanced learning techniques for children.
Carol-Anne’s unique wealth of training, dynamic teaching style, and compassionate yet pragmatic communication skills make her a dynamic educator, consultant, and facilitator who continues to inspire and change people’s lives wherever she works.
